I am a person from Australia living in China. Here are some things I really like:
China, red wine, writing, maths – although i haven’t done it for a long time, language, talking, riding a bicycle, crosswords, apples, asking questions, cooking – especially when there’s a challenge involved, reading the newspaper, chinese tea – tieguanyin to be specific, listening to podcasts – especially radio national, massages, chilli or anything seriously spicy, etymology, the beach, hot weather, walks, negronis, toast, the internet, music that is good, being in a vessel floating on water.
Professionally, I am a Journalism postgraduate student, trilingual in English, Chinese and French with a strong interest in China. I have lived, worked and studied in China for almost three years and have travelled extensively throughout the country, as well as the rest of Asia and Europe. I have been writing and blogging about China and aim to specialise in China reporting. I am skilled in social media and online journalism.
